We are helping to upgrade the infrastructure and facilities at St Josephs Middle School in the remote Lepcha community of Pachok in Buddhabare Bazaar near Kalimpong. This project, involving the building of two extra classrooms, will enable St Josephs to upgrade to a secondary school. This will enable many more children in surrounding Lepcha villages to continue their education locally rather than be sent away to boarding schools that their families cannot afford.
