Bungule Village is located at the foot of Mount Kasigau , on the edge of Tsavo National Park . We have been inspired here by the work of former AV volunteer Charles Coldman, who is currently working to upgrade primary and pre primary schools in five desperately poor villages around Mount Kasigau .
We are raising funds to assist Charles and his organisation, African Promise, to rebuild a school classroom in the village of Bungule . The current classroom is hot, dark and airless, with tiny windows and a tin roof dating back 60 years. A proper structure with decent ventilation will greatly enhance the quality of school learning in Bungule.
