Why Education?
In many of the schools we support, children sit on the floor, there are no proper walls between classrooms and classes are often held outdoors. Class sizes of 100 are common. Roofs are often corrugated zinc sheets and the heat is often stifling. Under these conditions, achieving quality education is simply impossible.

Our focus is to provide a more supportive learning environment for children in these rural areas. We focus our efforts on one major project per country at a time, mostly around the building, extension or upgrading of classrooms and ancillary facilities. A major objective is to help decrease class size, which has a big impact on the quality of learning.

In poor rural areas in the developing world, education is the key to breaking out of the cycle of poverty.
